oz scrapbook:EKKA

I had recently visited with my sister Bing in Brisbane. She convinced me to visit the Ekka. Ekka was originally known as the Brisbane Exhibition whose main purpose was to showcase the agricultural products of Queensland. Its formal title is the Royal Queensland Show. The show is organized by the Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland. Based on information I was able to get from Wikipedia, these shows has been held since 1876. While the agricultural trade shows and the rodeos are still there, the main draw these days are the rides. It was also great to go there because spring started early, the weather was rather mild. The coloured photos were taken with an Holga while the black and white photos were taken using a rollei. A mystery that confounds me is how I was able to do a double exposure of the marilyn statue over one of the ticket booths. The resulting negative is okay so I think it was properly exposed overall.
